Aims & Activities
Christians Against Poverty (CAP) began in 1996. Their services are delivered through a network of local churches. Locally, the CAP Debt Centre is run in partnership with four Bromley Churches. Nationally, CAP have a range of services which aim to get people out of and to remain out of debt. These include: debt centres (of which Bromley is one) which provide debt help and counselling in the privacy of your own home. Other services across the country include: help to step into employment through CAP Job Clubs; helping people to get control of their addictions through CAP Release Groups and CAP Life Skills, to equip people to live well on a low income.
