Aims & Activities
The Friends of High Elms is a small but enthusiastic group of volunteers united by a love of High Elms Country Park.
The High Elms Estate offers 250 acres of park and woodland. Much of High Elms is designated a site of special scientific interest (SSSI). It provides a habitat for rare orchids and butterflies, with areas of ancient woodland which are home to the endangered dormouse.
Our aim is to manage and improve High Elms for the benefit both of wildlife and of visitors.
