We are a group of volunteers who carry out practical conservation tasks under the supervision of "id Verde", an independent landscaping company who are contractors to the London Borough of Bromley.

Our aims are:

  • To assist in providing an educational experience for the public in the wildlife, sustainability, history and biodiversity of High Elms Country Park.
  • To help to secure and promote the conservation and protection of High Elms Country Park, to monitor its plants, animals and wildlife habitats and maintain and improve its biodiversity.
  • To promote its use as a place for quiet, informal enjoyment, recreation and study.
  • To help with practical conservation work through voluntary action for the benefit of wildlife and the community under the supervision of of "id Verde" and its professional officers.

All tools and equipment are provided but volunteers should bring their own refreshments.

We will meet at the site stated in the task sheet below. New volunteers who are unfamiliar with the site should let us know in their email to arrange a suitable place to meet.

Monday afternoons - meet at the work site.

Wednesday mornings - Wildlife Garden at BEECHE.

Saturdays - meet at the work site.
