Bromley Sight Centre Resource Room

Kent Association for the Blind (KAB)

NOTE: The Resource Room is not currently open due to Covid-19 restrictions, but will hopefully reopen early in 2022.

Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) have a resource room at the Bromley Sight Centre which stocks a range of demonstration equipment. 

  • Open by appointment only for people to view equipment related to sight impairment. Please phone to make an appointment. 
  • Trained staff show what's available, demonstrate how to use it; and give information on where to purchase it. 
  • If eligible (based on KAB's assessment of need), KAB can provide some equipment free on long-term loan on behalf of the London Borough of Bromley. 
  • Anyone visiting who is not eligible will be provided with information on where to purchase equipment directly.  
  • If you'd like to view a specific piece of equipment, please telephone first to check it's in stock.
