In partnership with Signature at Beckenham, we are delighted to have launched our Sporting Memories Club.
Sporting Memories Clubs use the power of reminiscing and recounting endless occasions of wonder in sport, along with physical exercise, to tackle dementia, depression and loneliness. We are proud to be playing a role in uniting older adults.
Our Sporting Memories Club is open to older adults who may be isolated, or living with depression, dementia or other long-term conditions. They could be fans, former players, family members, anyone!
Our club is now up and running, with more and more people coming each week – the sessions are every other Wednesday hosted in the Venue suite from 11am to 1pm. Two hours of enjoyment and unity for no cost – who could say no to that?
Everyone has one thing in common: a love of sport.
But that is not all. We also provide enjoyable social and physical activities. At Sporting Memories Clubs, we have three aims – for everyone to have fun, for everyone to feel welcome and for everyone to find friendships.
