Lil’ Leo is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) established to support community wellbeing through innovative, inclusive programmes.

Working in partnership with organisations, charities, mental health professionals, and community groups, Lil’ Leo CIC delivers initiatives that promote compassion, connection, and positive mental health.

At the heart of Lil’ Leo is a vision to become a recognised symbol of wellbeing within communities bringing people and animals together to create meaningful, lasting impact.

Leo, our certified therapy dog, has been serving the community for over six years and is the inspiration behind Lil’ Leo CIC’s journey to support wellbeing.

Meet Leo

A gentle-hearted Labrador with a natural gift for connection, Leo brings comfort, joy, and calm to everyone he meets. Through his visits to schools, libraries, psychiatric hospitals, and care homes, he has touched countless lives offering moments of reassurance, companionship, and care.

Leo’s work has inspired the Lil’ Leo children’s books, sharing messages of kindness, empathy, and compassion for all living beings.

Recognised with awards including the BBC Make a Difference Award (2024), the SBS Award, and the World Humanitarian Drive Award, Leo continues to make a meaningful difference in the community.
