The Cinnamon Trust is the only specialist national charity which seeks to relieve the anxieties, problems, and sometimes injustices, faced by elderly and terminally ill people and their pets, thereby saving a great deal of human sadness and animal suffering.
The Trust recruits animal loving volunteers nationwide to enable elderly and terminally ill people to continue to benefit from the special relationship they have with their pets, doing whatever is necessary on a case by case basis to keep them together. This includes dog walking, providing transport for visits to the vet, short term fostering when owners face a spell in hospital and long term fostering for animals whose owners have died or moved to residential accommodation that will not accept pets.
