The Friends of Darrick and Newstead Woods objective is to secure and promote conservation and biodiversity in the 25 hectares of ancient woodland and meadow which make up the Darrick and Newstead Woods Local Nature Reserve. This area lies behind the many schools in the Lovibonds and Tubbenden areas, the Bromley Tennis Centre and Broadwater Gardens.
