The Friends of Farnborough Hospital was founded in the 1950’s with the specific aim of improving the everyday life of patients and staff.
In 2003 a new hospital was built on the site of the old Farnborough Hospital and named Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH).
The Friends of the hospital changed its name accordingly and, with the closure of Bromley Hospital, incorporated the Friends of Bromley Hospital.
