We are an 80-seat amateur theatre venue, located in West Wickham, Kent. Formed in 1962, this year we’re celebrating 60 years of great theatre.
Whether you would like to audition for a role or fancy trying your hand backstage (plenty of guidance available for those never-tried-before jobs) there is guaranteed to be something to satisfy that “need for theatre”.
You can register your interest for getting involved via news@theatre62.org.uk
Theatre 62 has been officially registered as Covid Secure under the See it Safely scheme, and appropriate social distancing measures are practiced at the theatre.
If you are interested in joining us – either as a member of our audience – or in a more active role, there are two options: Full Member or Friend.
When you join Theatre 62 you can be sure of a warm welcome. Rehearsals take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (and often some Sundays) whilst set-building takes place at weekends.
There are always opportunities for those who wish to tread the boards, direct, stage manage, build sets, work backstage, front of house, get involved with lighting and sound, assist with wardrobe, help in the bar, or serve interval refreshments.
