Helping people fulfil their potential
Thousands of our residents’ lives are changed for the better each year as a result of finding jobs with the help of our employment and training programme that is free to all Clarion residents and people living in our communities.
Our trained employment advisers provide one-to-one tailored support to anyone looking for a job, whether it is their first step on the career ladder or they are hoping to return to work after time out of the labour market. We offer careers guidance, interview training, job placements, apprenticeship opportunities and access to training, as well as supporting people as they progress in their career.
Taking the lead
We are the lead partner on Love London Working, a £34m employment programme part-funded by the European Social Fund and managed by the Greater London Authority. More than 6,000 unemployed people have been helped into work by the programme, which will run until 2023.
We are also a key partner in Increase VS, which is part of an Interreg France (Channel) England programme helping unemployed people over the age of 16 to find work or start their own business. Increase VS provides training opportunities, financial support, skills development, and work-related training. It also provides individual support with job applications, CV writing and interview practice. The cross-Channel programme is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and is being delivered by Clarion Futures in parts of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge and Essex.
