The Positive Youth Education (PYE) Project aims to challenge the thought processes, beliefs and attitudes towards offending, deviant or risk taking behaviour in order to enable positive attitudinal and behavioural changes.
Adopting a life course approach our work identifies and targets individual’s risk factors, both static and dynamic. Through one to one, group work and community engagement we are able support the development of protective factors in the lives of vulnerable young people.
Our services are accessible to all young people. We currently work in:
CRIME PREVENTION
With specific experience working with young offenders, gangs and weapon carriers we devise and deliver effective and unique projects.
EDUCATION AND RETENTION

We implement a variety of techniques to inspire young people to stay in education, gain training and achieve success in their youth.
EMPLOYABILITY

Through a network of successful local organisations we provide work-based learning experiences for ambitious young people.
POSITIVE EXPRESSION

Our youth workers are recruited with attention to their creative skillsets which are utilized to deliver our creative training programmes.
