What is Messy Church?

This is a different and informal way of a family group experiencing church. It provides a fun and accessible way for families to come to church, who perhaps don't usually, or find it hard to come on a Sunday. Messy Church provides hospitality and friendship through fun and food. Messy Church exists for the whole family, young and old, to enjoy together.

What happens at Messy Church?

There will be a number of different and fun crafts/activities to enjoy. Food will be served near the end of the session. There will be a short time of worship and a message tied in with the theme and we'll sing a song or two together. We usually finish with the 'hokey-cokey' which is great fun.

Who can come?

Anyone! as long as they bring a child - Messy Church is designed for families of whatever size and make-up, be it parents, single parents, grandparents, carers. The important thing is to come together and take part in everything together.
