To access the services and social activities offered at Northlands Centre, people need to have a confirmed diagnosis of multiple sclerosis and live in the borough of Bromley. They can be referred by Social Services or can self-refer.
* For £9 per day (2022), the centre offers: Information and support about MS.
* Open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.30am-2.30pm for socialising, tea and coffee, a two course cooked lunch, and access to exercise equipment. There is also a hair dresser available at modest cost. A carer is in attendance to provide support.
* Wheelchair accessible transport from anywhere in the borough is available should you need it for an additional donation of £10 for the return trip.
* People do not have to be accompanied by a carer.
* Social outings and events are organised throughout the year – barbecues, quizzes day trips and parties.
* Run wholly by volunteers, there are also plenty of opportunities to get involved – driving, cooking, gardening, fundraising and support working should you wish to volunteer.
