The Bromley Dementia Befriending Service offers companionship for people with dementia. Befriending is provided by vetted and trained volunteer dementia befrienders supported by the Volunteer Befriending Worker.
Activities are specific to the needs of the person with dementia. They could include support to carry out day-to-day activities, for example shopping or going for a walk, to continue with hobbies and interests or to support to participate in social or community activities locally. We also work with people who are not able to leave their homes and could benefit from a friendly chat.
