BCCS (Bromley Community Counselling Service) is a BACP-accredited high-quality, low-cost therapy service for Bromley and the surrounding areas. It is proactive, effective, and plugs the gaps left by local NHS services. It is a registered charity and offers low-cost counselling on a sliding scale of fees. To make an appointment, please ring 0208 460 7711 and ask for an Initial Consultation for counselling, or access an appointment via the website: www.bccs.uk.com.
Counselling/Psychotherapy:
The aim of the Initial Consultation is to get a bird's-eye view of what is troubling you, and check that counselling is the right intervention. You are then matched with counsellor who can offer appointments weekly for up to a year. Counselling can either be face-to-face, or online via Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp, or FaceTime. There are various models of counselling which are explained on our website and most of our counsellors use an integrated model to make sure you get the most appropriate help and support.
Life Coaching:
Our experienced Life Coach works with people who wish to focus on achieving success or overcoming challenges in everyday personal and professional life while functioning successfully and well in the real world. This is a short-term collaborative intervention for people in business who may have reached a crossroads in their life where they need to set new personal and professional goals or identify what may be blocking them from achieving the life they want.
Couples Counselling:
Our qualified Couples Counsellor offers up to 16 sessions for couples who are experiencing difficulties in their relationships and who are in distress. The aim of the counselling is to identify and address the problems they are facing, talk about difficult things together, perhaps to learn to understand their partner better, and explore their relationship constructively and creatively.
