All Saints Choir

All Saints Orpington

All Saints' Festival Choir consists of around fifty singers from all over mid and west Kent from various choirs and choral societies, as well as a number of people who have had little previous experience of singing. Although the choir works to a very high standard, there are no auditions, and all are welcome who are able to attend rehearsals. Those with less confidence are encouraged to come to as many rehearsals as they can, to give themselves as much help as possible. In addition to the concerts, two or three social events are held each year, which help defray the high costs of holding the concerts. Retiring collections at the concerts and donations from social events have been made in aid of various charities.

The choir supports a different charity every year, alternating between international and locally-based organisations.

For 2021/2 we are supporting The Chartwell Cancer Trust, which supports cancer patients in Bromley and the wider south east London area. Our previous charity was Excellent Developments. The choir rehearses during term time on Tuesday evenings at 8 pm, with occasional other weekday evening and Sunday afternoon rehearsals. The choir relies on singers attending as many rehearsals as they feel they need, both for their own and for others' sakes! Rehearsals take place in All Saints' Church (or Hall), Bark Hart Road, Orpington, BR6 0QD, unless otherwise advised. See the "Contacts & tickets" page for a map http://www.preeve.plus.com/index.html

New choir members are very welcome. Previous singing experience is not necessary (nearly everyone can sing!)
