Saturday Morning Development timings:

• 8:45am Registration begins.
  
• 9:00am Training sessions for all age groups from reception to Year 6 begin
  
• 10:15am Team Training Only – Team members need to refer to their managers for further details

From March 5th 2022, All Saturday Development Training is back at Blake’s Rec

For players in year groups from Reception up to School Year 6, turn up on the day and train is available with our development squad (see above for timings)

Training is run by our UEFA B Head Coach and assisted by FA qualified team coaches. We also have younger assistant coaches, many of whom play for the junior club, to help the qualified coaches. Often younger, and less confident players, respond better to one of our assistant coaches 1-2-1s; the drills are always set up and supervised by the FA qualified coach and the focus is always on Fun

New players for the BTJFC Teams be selected from the Development squads where possible and invited to join a teams when places become available. There isn’t always a place available immediately, especially once a season has started and the squad is settled. However, when there are enough players, we will look to create a new team, provided we can find a manager to run it, which is easier said than done.

Our aim is to provide a high level of coaching for players at every level so they can be the best they can be. Beckenham Town JFC prides itself on being a Community Club and for providing a safe environment for players of all abilities to play and enjoy their football. If we win a trophy great, but what greater trophy is there than seeing kids with smiles on their faces? We try hard to not lose sight of that goal.

If you wish to come along on a Saturday, just turn up and register at the registration desk. Pay as you play, £5.00 per session (Card Only).
