Moving Beyond Abuse – Therapeutic Group for Mothers

Experiencing domestic abuse can leave lasting emotional, psychological, and practical challenges. Home-Start Bromley’s “Moving Beyond Abuse” group is a safe, supportive space for mothers who have experienced domestic abuse to begin their journey toward healing, confidence, and empowerment.

Our ‘Moving Beyond Abuse’ therapeutic group is a safe, supportive space for mothers who have experienced domestic abuse. Over 8 weeks, participants explore their personal history, relational patterns, and the effects of abuse, while learning coping strategies, co-parenting tools, and ways to rebuild confidence. With professional guidance and peer support, mothers gain the skills and strength to move forward safely, for themselves and their children
