Bigfoot Cycle Club aims to appeal to leisure cyclists right up to serious riders who enjoy taking part in sportives, races, mountain biking, cyclocross, audax, triathlons and time trials. The club is based in the London Borough of Bromley, right on the edge of the Kent countryside. We are affiliated to British Cycling, Cycling UK and Cycling Time Trials. BigfootCC racers regularly perform well at the Crystal Palace Crits in the summer. We also have triathletes and Iron Man participants amongst our ranks. Bigfoot Go-Ride is run separately for those aged under 18 with youth riders progressing to the adult club.

If you’re new to cycling, returning after a break, a seasoned pro or just want a ride on the odd sunny weekend, then here’s where you can find out about everything we do and what it’s like to be part of a cycling club.

First and foremost Bigfoot Cycle Club is set up to be all inclusive, new riders are always made to feel welcome and we have enough organised rides and events happening to suit everyone.

How does it work, what do I do, am I fit enough, is my bike alright!?

Road rides are every Saturday morning, with the routes posted each week. Check the Forum for other rides.

If you’ve a bike and can ride it for about 20 miles then you’ll be just fine. If that’s too much, then keep an eye out for some of our shorter rides and family rides in the spring and summer months. For road rides we recommend road bikes with slick tyres, if you’ve any doubts about your bike just ask at Panagua Bikes in Hayes, or other shops in the area, and they can check it over for you.

You may join us for up to three guest rides to see if we are the club for you. After a maximum of three guest rides you are required to join before cycling with us again.
