It's been going since nineteen-forty-six

With lots to do and a friendly mix

If you're looking for like-minded chaps to meet

Or just to get out from under your loved ones feet

Come and you'll find a welcome mat

Then tea and biscuits and a chat

All our equipment we've managed to transplant

From old to new, thanks to a lottery-funded grant

There are no formalities, no protocol
