The BLT Youth Group  is based at the theatre on North Street.

It operates on Fridays during school term time and is open to young people of Secondary School age.

Seeking to echo the high quality of performance set by the public productions of the theatre, the group is committed to equipping young performers with key skills and challenging them to set their own high standards of preparation and performance. Our sessions include work with scripts as well as improvisation, and workshops exploring different genres of theatre and practitioners.

Each year the youth group put on their own summer production on the main stage as well as having opportunities to showcase at other points in the year and to audition for our mainstage and bar shows.
