The Mountfield Hub in Orpington, owned by Clarion, recently had an extensive refurbishment. One of four Community Hubs managed by Play Place, this lively centre supports positive activities in the community. Currently the centre is home for a Nursery, slimming group and two churches. Play Place run quarterly community Family Fun Days designed to promote local activities and community organisations.

Play Place want to work with local residents to develop a range of new community opportunities and activities. Our model is to generate income through social enterprise methods (Hires, grants or other fundraising) and offer free community activities using surpluses that are achieved.
