One to one health advocacy and culturally sensitive emotional support sessions for BAMER service users who speak little or no English.

Lewisham Multilingual Advice Service

Health advocacy and emotional support sessions are delivered by a professionally trained counsellor. Through a structured programme, they help service users to challenge negative emotions, deal with anxiety, alcohol abuse, depression, stress, and other mental health problems.

Referrals can be made by statutory and voluntary sector organisations on behalf of service users, direct by phone or email, or through the Advice Lewisham freephone number 0800 231 5453, pressing option 1 immediately after hearing the word "English" in the message. Service users can also self-refer.

Thursdays 10:00am-3:00pm (by appointment)
