The St Hugh’s Youth Club happens on a Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm, and welcomes around 20 local 8-13 year olds each week.

What's Youth Club like?

Everyone’s welcome: all you’ve got to do is be local to the St Hugh’s estate and want to get involved.

Youth club is about inspiring young people to make positive choices.

We do a lot of sporty activity: football, basketball, rounders, cricket, that kind of stuff.

We do lots of arts and crafts in the hall, designing posters and t-shirts and sometimes have special activities like bike repair or hair styling.

We try to stimulate people with discussion, debate, and there’s generally a topic to work through.

We have fun here, we’re very respectful, and we get on with people from whatever background they come from.

So if you’ve got things you’d like us to do, we try our best to make sure that we can help you. Come along and see!
