We have a range of daily family activities available as part of your visit:

HighFlyers’ Backpacks (Ages 5-8)

Let your little one’s imagination take flight with our backpacks aimed at youngsters aged 3 to 8. Take the backpacks around the museum on your family visit and use the objects and activities inside each one to help your child engage with the museum’s fascinating objects and stories, allowing them to discover the history of RAF Biggin Hill in a fun, age-appropriate way. The backpacks are free with the price of a museum ticket and must be returned to the ticket desk at the end of your visit.

Under 5s’ Spotters Trail

Keep youngsters engaged with our free spotter trail. Simply look at the pictures on the sheet and find the objects in the museum. Give each picture a tick when you find the object.

Families Tablet Guide (8-12)

Enhance your family visit with our interactive Discovery Tablets. Learn about the stories behind the objects in our collection and access video interviews, documents and other primary sources to enrich your museum experience further.

Under 5s’ Session (school holidays only)

Check our website for details of our half-hour sessions for under 5s. Let us entertain your little ones with singing, story-telling, object handling and parachute games. Tickets are £2.50 per child, which includes a free hot drink for accompanying adults. Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the session.
