Falcon Spartak prides itself on being an inclusive club with most classes being integrated across all abilities and disabilities. We do however recognise that some of our gymnasts with disabilities need to work in smaller groups and with a higher coach to gymnast ratio. After assessment, these gymnasts will be offered places in our Saturday morning classes which are disability specific.
Gymnasts with both learning and physical disabilities also train alongside our mainstream gymnasts in all other classes and all gymnasts are encouraged to reach their potential with individual plans of progress.
The club have choreographed numerous disability and integrated displays over the years, training for such events will take place during classes.
Our Disability gymnasts are affiliated to British Gymnastics and Special Olympics (depending on criteria and individual disability) and successfully compete from grassroots to National level.
