Welcome to the Assembly Halls . We’d love to invite you to come and visit our halls.

Our office opening hours are from 10am to 1.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday should you wish to contact us about booking the halls or contact us for further information outside of office hours.

The Halls

We have a variety of rooms ranging in size and capacity, from our small ancient granary up to the large main hall. All rooms have natural light and adequate lighting and power points. The kitchen is available on a “shared, no charge” basis.

Available Rooms:

Main hall – 65’ x 32’

With stage – 26’ x 28’ – Full working stage with rear access for band/ DJ

Capacity: 200 (164 seated for dining)

Large light and airy hall suitable for very large parties , weddings, anniversaries.

Doors open on to veranda and a beautiful centre garden, which is safe for children.

Sprung maple dance floor.

Minor hall – 44’x 27’

Capacity: 90 pers.

Marked out as a badminton court

Linked door to Main hall. For large receptions the Main and Minor can be combined.

Outer door leads to back garden and rear access gate.

New polished wooden floor.

Suitable for quiz nights, fund raisers, and larger children’s parties.

Social room – 29’ x 27’

Capacity: 40 pers.

Wood effect laminate flooring.

Lovely bright room with direct access to kitchen via a large hatch.

Suitable for smaller parties , children’s parties, projector shows and meetings.

Old Granary – 19’ x 16’

Capacity: 15/20 pers.

Beautiful 17th century room, with steps leading up to the door, wooden beams and leaded windows, carpet on floor. The only room we have that is not on the level.

Suitable for meetings, photo shoots.

Kitchen – 11’ x 27’

Large space with two large electric ovens & 6 burner hobs, constant hot water machine, large fridge / freezer with extra fridge if required. Large area of work surface.

Shared by all hirers.

Centre Garden – Approx 18 yards square

Beautiful enclosed garden with sunny, raised patio area, large lawn, wooden benches, flower beds & hanging baskets. Outside electrical sockets for coloured lights or bouncy castle, etc.

Available with Main Hall hire.

Rear Garden

Grass area, suitable for BBQ, hog roast, etc. Not suitable for young children.

Access from Main or Minor Halls. Cigarette butt disposal bin. Rear vehicle access for deliveries via side driveway.

Car park

At front of the centre for 13 cars and unrestricted parking in road outside.

The entrance foyer is large and welcoming.

Ladies and gentlemen’s toilets and an easy access toilet with baby changing facilities are in this area along with the caretakers office.

Some comfortable seating available in the foyer also.
