The MindCare Young Onset Dementia Activists group (YODA) is for anyone in the London boroughs of Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich who has developed dementia before the age of 65.
Family and friends who are carers are also welcome.
The group meets at the MindCare Dementia Support centre in Beckenham every Friday from 11am to 1pm. Members support each other and share experiences, which have included poetry writing, dancing, walking, lunches out and bowling. They are also involved in fundraising and raising awareness of young onset dementia.
