St Andrew’s has a long musical tradition dating back to well before the present church was built in 1930. A photograph exists of the huge choir of St Andrew’s Mission Church at Plaistow Green in 1908.
Today we have a choir of about 15 sopranos, altos tenors and basses and welcome new members. We rehearse on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. in St Andrew’s church, Burnt Ash Lane, Bromley BR1 5AF and for half an
hour from 9.30 on Sundays before the 10 a.m. service.
We have a wide repertoire ranging from classical anthems to modern church music of all kinds.
