The Royal British Legion provides specialist compensation advice, help with debt and emergency situations, and can support you with grants and loans - all completely confidential and free of charge.

 Specific financial support and advice includes:

•  help to claim the state disability benefits you're entitled to
•  impartial and non-judgemental advice about how to maximise your income by claiming the benefits and tax credits you're entitled to 
•  support on managing debt 
•  grants at times of crisis and there's a need to meet unexpected expenses
•  grants to support veterans with hearing loss, those with serious physical injury and needing mobility assistance. If you need help getting around then the Legion may be able to provide an electrically powered mobility vehicle, scooter, or buggy. 
•  support to get funding and grants to adapt your home and receive new equipment. 
• the Women’s Section has a number of benevolent programmes where financial assistance and other services are available to women, men and children.
