We are a small, friendly club who meets twice a month in Orpington. We are affiliated to the English Folk Dance and Song Society.
Our afternoon sessions are tailored to the needs of retired people: we go at a gentle pace, all the steps are called - no need to remember them - and there is a cup of tea and a biscuit in the interval.
You don’t need to bring your own partner. If you come on your own, you won’t be left sitting on the sidelines.
No previous experience is needed and there is no fancy footwork to learn.
When and where do you dance?
The 1st and 3rd Thursdays, 2 - 4 pm at the Orpington Liberal Club, 7 Station Rd, Orpington BR6 0RZ
Can I come on my own?
Yes! You will be made very welcome. Everyone's friendly and we all dance with each other, so you'll soon get to know the group.
