Monthly Forums (in person and online)

Bromley Experts by Experience

We hold regular Forum meetings in Bromley and online on Zoom. These meetings are led by people with lived experience of disability. We explore ways to challenge and remove barriers to inclusion and independence, share information and voice our experiences. Issues raised are fed back to service providers and decision makers to ensure your voice is heard.

PLEASE NOTE: These sessions take place at Community House, South Street, Bromley, BR1 1RH and on Zoom.

We run the following Forums:

  • Mental Health Forum - a safe space for open conversations around mental health care and the changes we want to see in mental health services.
  • Accessibility Forum -  explore access barriers that we, as Disabled people, face in the community, both in Bromley and across London, including transport, public spaces, communication and information.
  • Independent Living Forum - a space where we explore what it truly means to live independently as Disabled people and how to get the right support.

For dates of upcoming meetings and to register, please see the events page on our website: https://www.xbyxbromley.org.uk/events.
